Angolan ambassador accredited in The Gambia
Luanda, ANGOLA, March 17 - The Angolan ambassador to The Gambia, Daniel Rosa, handed the credential letters to West African country’s President, Adama Barrow, starting his diplomatic duties there.,
The non-resident ambassador's accreditation ceremony was held on Wednesday in the city of Banjul in the presence of members of the Gambian Government and Angolan diplomats.
On that occasion, Ambassador Daniel Rosa expressed the intention of the Angolan Government to relaunch the already existing cooperation ties with the Republic of The Gambia.
In this sense, they plan to bring the two peoples and governments closer, whose relations are currently limited to politics and diplomacy.
He informed that the Government supports all the initiatives of the Gambian Government, towards the development of the country, and expresses solidarity with its people.
The Angolan diplomat also expressed satisfaction with the ongoing reconciliation policy, a positive position not only for The Gambia, but also for the whole region.
